2025 Audi e-tron GT has undergone a stunning transformation, now offering up to a mind-blowing 912 horsepower.
A Sleek New Look
The 2025 e-tron GT boasts a fresh, aggressive design with new grille styles and Audi’s revamped four-ring logo. The entry-level S model features glossy black trim, while the RS models flaunt wider side air intakes with standout "L-shaped" elements. You'll also notice new wheel designs, including multispoke 20-inchers and forged 12-spoke wheels on the RS models, inspired by the iconic 1991 Avus Quattro concept. The Performance model introduces a striking new color, Bedford Green, and exclusive matte carbon roof options.
Interior Upgrades
Inside, the changes are subtle but significant. The digital gauge cluster, known as the Virtual Cockpit, now provides detailed EV battery information, including temperature, preconditioning, and real-time charging rate. The RS models feature trim-specific content, and the Performance model offers a selectable white background for the display. Plus, a new panoramic sunroof can switch between clear and opaque at the push of a button.
The cabin’s overall layout remains the same, but Audi has added a new squared-off steering wheel, restyled seats with illuminated logos, and new interior trim options, including birch and carbon camouflage. The Performance model features Serpentine Green stitching to match its exclusive Bedford Green paint.
Performance Boost
Every e-tron GT model now comes with a new rear-mounted motor incorporating parts from Audi’s PPE platform. This motor is about 22 pounds lighter and more efficient than its predecessor. The powertrain upgrades are impressive: the base S trim now delivers 671 horsepower, surpassing the outgoing RS model's 637-hp peak. The new RS model cranks out a whopping 845 horsepower, and the top-of-the-line RS Performance version reaches an astonishing 912 horsepower with overboost activated, providing a 94-hp increase for up to 10 seconds.
Audi claims the RS Performance can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds, while the RS and S models achieve this in 2.8 and 3.4 seconds, respectively. The S model tops out at 152 mph, and both RS models have a maximum speed of 155 mph.
Enhanced Battery and Charging
The 2025 e-tron GT features a larger 97.0-kWh battery, up from the previous 83.7 kWh, thanks to an optimized two-layer cooling plate. The new battery is about 22 pounds lighter and supports a higher peak DC fast-charging rate of 320 kilowatts, allowing it to go from 10 to 80 percent charge in just 18 minutes or add approximately 174 miles in the same time. For those using a Level 2 connection, there’s an optional 22.0-kW onboard charger.
Upgraded Braking and Handling
Audi has enhanced the e-tron GT's braking system with larger steel discs as standard. RS models come with optional tungsten carbide-coated brakes, and carbon-ceramic rotors with 10-piston front calipers are available across the lineup. The regenerative braking system can now recuperate up to 400 kilowatts of energy, compared to the previous 290 kilowatts. Drivers can manually adjust the regen level between three settings.
The redesigned standard air suspension offers two adjustable settings, and the optional active suspension provides individual wheel control. The four-wheel-steering system further improves agility, featuring a more direct front-axle ratio and the ability to turn the rear wheels up to 2.8 degrees.
U.S. Details Coming Soon
While these updates currently apply to the European version of the e-tron GT, we expect U.S. details, including range estimates and pricing, to be announced soon. For reference, the 2024 e-tron GT started at $107,995, with the RS model priced from $148,595.
